After a highly successful 2008 edition, we are happy to announce that the Hong Kong – Asia Financing Forum (HAF) will be back for its 7th edition on 23 - 25 March 2009!
HAF has been a tremendous success to our filmmakers, with projects reaching unprecedented levels of success, as well as being selected to participate in major festivals, such as Cannes, Berlin and Venice. HAF alumnus and Berlinale Silver Bear Award winner LI Yang said: “HAF is the best platform for Chinese directors to showcase themselves to the West, as well as an excellent conduit for international filmmakers to enter China.” To read about the accomplishment highlights of previous HAF projects, please click here.
HAF is now accepting project submissions for its 2009 edition, an excellent opportunity to show your film project to people who can make it into a reality! Submit your project to us before Oct 16 to enjoy the early bird discount!
Organized by the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFFS) and co-organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the MPIA, HAF will take place concurrently with the Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF), the Asian Film Awards (AFA) and FILMART and continue to be a part of the Entertainment Expo Hong Kong.
